I started my career in the industry at 18, working for a local Credit Union. I gained extensive knowledge by working in all areas of the banking industry, from a Bank Teller to a Branch Service Officer, handling all the tasks required to run an entire branch office. I transitioned to the Electronic Service Department and furthered my understanding of how financial institutions are networked. I still remember standing in front of the Electronic Operations Panel Board on Y2K when the clock struck 12 am. Unfortunately for some, the ATM machines didn’t spit out $20 bills randomly, but I’ll never forget Y2K—I made overtime that night. I attended an Omega Lending Class and completed it at the top of my class. My last two years were dedicated to loan origination, and I realized that my talent could earn me more success and income. By that time, I had my third child with my husband of 11 years, and in 2001, I resigned from the Credit Union to start a new chapter. I began working my way up, eventually opening my own office, coaching loan originators, and managing staff. Here I am, 21 years later, living out my dreams and working for Patriot Pacific Financial Co. I feel blessed to offer the most competitive rates and exceptional service at a company that truly cares for our clients and pays it forward to the veterans who serve and have served our country.
